About Us

Established in the early 80's from a bunch of guys sitting around in a garage just shooting the sh**.  We are avid golfers who love to play the game, compete against one another but mostly fellowship.  Our membership runs approximately 50 or so golfers from 21 years of age to our oldest member who is 90+ years young.  The league spans through multiple generations of family and friends.  We have golfers of all skill levels, from the 3 time Herald Sun Amateur Golf Champion to golfers who have just taken up the game.  We play one tournament each month from April to November.  Our formats are golfer friendly for all skill levels.  The goal of the Durham Weekend Golf League is to continue to play a game we are passionate about, for as long as we are able.  But most of all, make friends and memories that last a lifetime.
