About Us

Established in the early 80's from a bunch of guys sitting around in a garage just shooting the sh**.  We are a private club of avid golfers who love to play the game, compete against one another but mostly fellowship.  Our membership runs approximately 50 or so golfers from young adults to retired hackers.  The league spans through multiple generations of family and friends.  We have golfers of all skill levels, from scratch to golfers who have just taken up the game.  We play one tournament each month from March to December.  Our formats are golfer friendly for all skill levels.  The goal of the Durham Weekend Golf League is to continue to play a game we are passionate about, for as long as we are able.  But most of all, make friends and memories that last a lifetime.
